Hold em Poker : Semi-Bluffing and Defensive Gambling

Seems like most folks are always talking about pre-flop method, so I would like to speak a bit about how I play following the flop. Possibly I can help others, or perhaps they have advice to improve my play.
I believe that two of the most significant plays following the flop are the semi-bluff and the defensive wager. That’s because these are the plays you produce whenever you havent hit a hand except you have a good drawing hand. Its easy to wager on a hand once you flop a monster. But I believe that these 2 are the greatest techniques to bet on a drawing. Each one is wagered depending on you competition(s) and your postion. So here’s how I wager on it, so tell me what you think.
Early Location – Tight Competitors:
A semi-bluff works fairly nicely in this position. Are available out wagering and if a tight player did not hit a hand he’ll probably lay down, and if he is unsure you may perhaps get a call. But watch out, if that tight gambler comes back more than the top it might be time to get away.
Early Placement – Loose Opponents
This can be were I like to try and do a defensive bet. Determine how quite a few chips you’re willing to chance on your draw and wager. This really is usually a much smaller wager than regular. It’s been my understanding that the loose player will usually just call a wager instead of re-raise. However, when you check to them, theyre far more likely to throw in more chips than your willing to pay.
Late Place – Tight Opponents
