When will You Going to Learn that Holdem Poker is All About Seating!

I have been playing poker now for about 5 years, I’ve wagered cards my entire life starting with games of Gin Rummy for pennies with my Grand Mother, to all of the various styles of Brag and general random games such as Go Fish, Crash and one so gracefully called, card on head casino game. I used to always win, whatever casino game we were wagering and although I liked to call it skill, it was very difficult to warrant considering the randomness of the games we were playing, so I was pleased to accept I was having a long run of luck.

Then came Poker, or far more importantly Hold’em Poker, made famous by a bunch of Texas card players in the 1960’s and since grown into one of the biggest card phenomena ever seen. Poker is absolutely the new black, it can be super cool with many of the world’s top stars racing to have their name associated with it. Just a quick flick through the TV channels nowadays and it is possible to not escape from poker, and of course there’s the fabled World Series of Poker, the Holy Grail and Mecca all combined into one for each and every individual gambler.

So with all of this fresh discovered recognition, with so numerous Tv programmes devoted to poker, and magazine and book shelves loaded up with high quality material written by the foremost minds on poker, when are folks going to learn that this game is all about position!?

Perhaps I need to not acquire so worked up about this, after all the far more men and women who have difficulty with the delicate techniques and approaches required for succeeding regularly at Texas hold’em, the better it is for everyone else, appropriate? I mean, if they can’t be troubled to look at all of the accessible info about why position is so essential, why must we bother? We should just be happy there’s one more fish at the table!

It’s true, we should not encourage procrastination with advice and help. However, I liken this to a helpful casino game of football. Naturally the levels are not so good, except when you notice a player having difficulties, you support them, offer them some advice, ultimately showing them a method to love, really like and appreciate the game as much as you. I’m asking all home players to do a similar thing with their poker buddies who haven’t quite grasped the subtleties of wagering position. Guide them to grow their respect for the casino game. Certainly, do not attempt to try this one in your nearby betting house, the sharks won’t appreciate you instructing their lunch how to swim!
